Water Wheel Fire Mogollon Rim Arizona 08/31/2009
The fire was 7 miles away from where I was located on the face of Milk Ranch Point along the Highline Trail. The fire was pretty much knocked down from the day before and only a little smoke could be seen on top of the ridge. Two slurry bombers came in just as I got within view of the fire. They each circled until the spotter plane told them where to drop the slurry. There wasn't much to see except slurry bombers flying around.
