Some of the smaller animals were not tripping the motion sensor on the game camera from the porch location. I have now moved the game camera closer to the water tank near the ground so the smaller animals can trip the sensor. The camera is attached to a tree about 4-5 feet away.
I had to put an umbrella squirrel guard on the pole of the bird feeder to keep the squirrels out of the bird seed. Then I noticed that the feeder was empty on some mornings. I thought the pigeons were cleaning out the bird feeder. Turns out it's not the pigeons. The elk cows have been coming around and sucking the platter dry with their tongues. I need to put an inner sliding tube in the pole to raise the feeding platter and still allow it to be lowered for refilling.
